How long will it take to apply a full head of Micro ring Extensions?
Depending on thickness and amount of strands it will take between 2 – 4 hours.

How long does your hair need to be?
The top layer needs to be longer than 5” as the rings will be apparent.

Can your hair be re-used?
Depending on how well the hair is treated and used, yes the hair will last between 6 – 9 months and the micro rings should be moved up at least every 6 weeks depending on the growth of the your hair.

Will Micro Rings Extensions damage my hair?
As there is no glue, heat or tight tracks applied to the hair, damage is highly unlikely.

Will I suffer from hair loss?
Everyone sheds 80-100 strands of hair on a daily basis. Once locked into the micro ring those hairs have nowhere to go, so when the extensions are removed it may seem like a lot of hair is coming out but it’s just the dead hairs which have built up over many weeks.

Should the rings hurt?
No. But it may feel strange if you are new to extensions. It may take a few days or up to a week for you to feel completely comfortable but should not hurt at any point.

Can I use dryers / straighteners on the extensions?
Yes. We use 100% human good quality hair, (Indian Grade 5 A), you can treat them like your normal hair, never apply heat to the roots as this may melt the stick tip bonds. Make sure you use the hot air downwards along the hair shaft never upwards for a lovely shine.

Can I swim with extensions?
Yes. However you have to be careful of matting and prolonged contact with the chemicals in the water, as this can cause the stick tips to weaken. Braid the hair before entering the pool to limit tangled ends. Rinse the hair with fresh water as soon as you leave the pool. Wash and dry as normal. Use a hair extension detangling brush before and after washing and a hair extension detangling spray.

Can I still colour my hair?
Yes. But only by a professional to ensure no damage is caused to the extensions.
